Myth about Aten
A myth about Aten is the Story of Sinuhe. In the Story of Sinuhe, a pharaoh named Amenemhat I unites with Aten. Someone is planning to kill Amenemhat I. Because of this, the pharaoh runs away. A few years later, the new pharaoh welcomes  him back. The Story of Sinuhe is also the first historical novel from the Middle Kingdom.


Aten’s family
Aten had no family. Aten is mentioned in the Book of the Dead.


Aten’s physical description
Aten looked just like his promoter, Akhenaten, except that he had a sun disk on his head. Aten is often depicted as a solar disk with rays that extended as human hands.


Weaknesses of Aten
Aten had no weaknesses.


Powers of Aten
The powers of Aten were that he was worshipped as the creator of everything, was the sun disk, and the spirit of the earth.


Responsibilities of Aten
Aten’s responsibilities were to be the giver of life, the creator of everything, to be a kind and benevolent god, and spirit of the earth.


Strengths of Aten
Aten’s strengths were that he was the creator of everything, had many temples, and was the sun disk.
